Dramatic footage from LaGuardia Airport in New York captured the instant that Air Canada Express flight AC8646 plowed into a fire truck late Sunday night.
The Bombardier CRJ-900, a relatively small jet that seats 76–90 and is used for commuter travel, crashed into a Port Authority fire truck. As The Daily Wire previously reported, two pilots were killed and more than a dozen passengers were injured in the collision.

The video shows the plane heading down the runway and a line of emergency vehicles with flashing lights approaching at right angles to the plane. The plane crashes into the first vehicle in that line and grinds to a halt.
Jazz Aviation issued a statement regarding the crash: “Flight 8646 was en route to LaGuardia (LGA) from Montréal (YUL). The preliminary passenger list indicates the aircraft was carrying 72 passengers and 4 crew members, although this is subject to confirmation. The incident occurred at approximately 11:47 PM on March 22, 2026.”
