A pair of television news stars ended up on the same flight on Monday in a moment captured on Instagram.
Gayle King, a longtime anchor at CBS, posted a selfie with Fox News primetime host Jesse Watters online showing both of them smiling at what appears to be the first class section of a commercial airliner.
“Two TV people from competing networks walk on to a plane and to the surprise of them both, they’re seated right next to each other for over four hours,” King wrote on the Meta-owned social platform. “How did it go? Speaking for [Watters] here: A good time was had by all! Hi, Jesse…saving your number!”
Watters is one of Fox’s top-rated hosts and regularly attacks mainstream media figures like King during his weeknight show.
King has been with CBS for more than a decade and uses her Instagram account to promote her interviews and show her followers scenes from her social life with celebrities, musicians and other prominent people.
