Jessica Simpson looked oh so chic as she touched down at the Austin, Texas airport.
On Thursday, the singer, 44, traveled to Austin to perform for the first time in 15 years at the SXSW festival.
After landing, Simpson shared a hilarious video on both TikTok and Instagram at the airport and in line to rent a car — wearing some over-the-top attire.
The fashion designer went full glam for her flight, layering a cheetah print maxi dress underneath a large blue fur jacket.
She upped the look even further with a pair of black oversized aviator sunglasses and black latex boots featuring an extra-tall platform and heel.
As for accessories, Simpson added a large silver cross necklace, tons of silver rings and a western-style silver and turquoise belt around her waist.
“We just landed in Austin and right now I’m going to wait in line at Enterprise. This is not an ad, but I’m getting a rental car,” Simpson says in the clip just before joining a large line of fellow car renters.
Enterprise even joined in on the fun in her comment section, writing, “Every icon needs an iconic ride. 💚”
More comments from fans praised the actress for her extravagant travel-day look.
“Texas royalty,” one user wrote. Another added, “That coat 🔥.”
It turns out that the star was actually performance-ready, hitting the stage in the same dress to sing a few country classics and debut two new songs of her own at the festival.
Simpson did, however, replace her blue fur coat with a much lighter cropped lace shawl.
The singer is getting back into the music industry after her split from husband Eric Johnson — and we can’t wait to see her new style.
