NBC‘s Deal or No Deal Island, hosted by Joe Manganiello, returns to pristine beaches for Season 2.
The spinoff of the original Deal or No Deal maintains the premise of the Banker’s anonymous identity and does not disclose exactly where they are filming, but it is safe to say it is not where the original show was shot.
The new edition of DOND retains many of the show’s original premises but now features elements of the hit show Survivor. Contestants live on an island and compete in challenges against or alongside one another for the iconic briefcases. Simultaneously, they try to figure out the identity of banker.
The show offers an entertaining combination of strategy, drama, and life-changing amounts of money — but where does all of that action take place?

Where is Deal or No Deal Island filmed?
NBC has not confirmed the specific location where contestants returned for the second season, referring to it only as “Banker’s Island” and highlighting the updates made since the first season.
However, Entertainment Weekly confirmed the previous season’s location in an interview with Season 1 contestant “Boston” Rob Mariano.
“We’re near Bocas del Toro. Listen to me: This was the Banker’s private island. It was the Five Seasons—like the Four Seasons, but one better.”
Bocas del Toro is a Panama province. Mariano, a previous contestant on Survivor, could appreciate the hospitality on Deal or No Deal Island, considering the conditions he previously faced.
A promo video by NBC features host Manganiello highlighting the new improvements to the campgrounds and sleeping quarters.
“This season, the bankers have taken the guest accommodations to the next level with our state-of-the-art geodomes,” he says. “Each geodome is equipped with its own air conditioning system, hardwood floors, and vaulted ceilings for normal-sized people like me.”
For context, Manganiello is 6’5.
At the very least, the contestants will get to rest comfortably, as the nature of the show is anything but.
When is the Deal Or No Deal Island Season 2 finale?
The finale of Deal of No Deal Island Season 2 airs on NBC at 9/8c March 25. The episode will be available to stream the following day on Peacock.
NBC reported that the finale will reveal this season’s banker. The only detail of the banker’s identity thus far is that she is a woman.
Season 1’s banker was Howie Mandel, the original host of Deal or No Deal. When promoting the finale on The Tonight Show, Manganiello told host Jimmy Fallon, “The person that wins this season, we give away the biggest prize in television history.”
