A jarring escalator malfunction occurred in a train station in the Philippines on March 8th that left 10 people injured. CCTV footage taken at the Taft Avenue station shows packed escalator riders ascending before suddenly plummeting back down. According to train management, they have pledged to cover the medical expenses of those affected.
