Kimberly Burch, the fiancée of Faster Pussycat frontman Taime Downe, may have jumped off a Royal Caribbean cruise ship following a heated argument with the musician.
The moments leading up to Burch’s tragic death were captured in a video that is now in the hands of police,TMZ reported Monday.
Insiders told the outlet that the footage shows Burch climbing the cruise ship’s railing before stepping off.
However, the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office said the investigation is still ongoing as they look into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
They have yet to declare Burch’s official cause of death, and her body remains missing. She was 56.
The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
Burch’s mother, Carnell Burch, told TMZ last week that her daughter fell overboard after getting into a fight with Downe, whom she had been dating for six or seven years.
At the time, Carnell said she was confident Kimberly would not intentionally hurt herself.
She said her daughter did not have a history of depression or other mental health issues and had been really excited about the trip.
However, Carnell noted that Kimberly had been drinking on the cruise, which was out of character.
The couple and some of the rocker’s bandmates were on an ’80s-themed cruise, which set sail out of Miami on Feb. 27 for a week-long getaway.
The incident — which occurred roughly 20 miles from Freeport, Bahamas — reportedly happened on the first day of the trip. However, Carnell did not learn about her daughter’s death until Downe called on March 3, four days later.
“We would have never even known it happened if Taime hadn’t called,” Kimberly’s brother Kip Burch told The Post last week.
“We feel lost. … We have no answers at all,” her other brother, Keith Burch, said. “Something happening to one of your loved ones, and not even knowing what happened, it’s awful.”
A spokesperson for the Royal Caribbean Group told us they “immediately launched a search and rescue effort” after learning Kimberly had gone overboard.
The Coast Guard also deployed a helicopter crew and other personnel to assist with the search, which came up empty.
Downe, 60, gushed over his fiancée in a Valentine’s Day post just two weeks before they embarked on the cruise.
“I had a beautiful #valentinesday with my love and better half @burchkimberly,” he captioned a black-and-white picture. “We ate candy and cupcakes. 😁. I’m a lucky man! 🖤❤️🖤.”
Kimberly also celebrated the special day with a tribute to her beau.
“Happy Every Day! From your first hello to me I fell head over heels in love,” she captioned the sentimental upload, which featured over a dozen loved-up photos of the couple.
“You are my Valentine every day of my life. We are a tornado at times and pure raw love. I wouldn’t have it any other way. We do us like no other. I love you with my entire heart and soul @taimed.”
