With the Oscars approaching this weekend, there’s no better time to catch up on this year’s nominated films, including the Bob Dylan biopic A Complete Unknown, one of many new titles out on demand this week. Lucy Liu stars in Presence, which Soderbergh directed from a script by David Koepp, as Rebecca Payne, a wife and mother whose family has just moved into a new house inhabited by, well, a presence. As they all debate whether the presence is real and what it wants from them, Julia Fox shows up as their realtor who knows a psychic who can help.

A Complete Unknown, directed by James Mangold, tells the story of the legendary folk singer Bob Dylan (played by Oscar nominee Timothee Chalamet), during his early years in New York City in the 1960s up through Dylan’s performance at the 1965 Newport Folk Festival when he went full “Judas” and went electric. The film’s co-stars, Edward Norton and Monica Barbaro, have also earned Oscar nods for their roles, so catch it now before Sunday’s Academy Awards!
Directed by Jonathan Eusebio, Love Hurts stars Oscar-winner Ke Huy Quan as a former hit man named Marvin Gable, who’s launched a new career for himself as a successful Milwaukee realtor. But as any former hitman in any movie ever can tell you, the past never stays buried for long. The film co-stars Ariana DeBose, Daniel Wu, Marshawn Lynch, Mustafa Shakir and Quan’s Goonies co-star Sean Astin, and is out now on VOD.
