“The Real Housewives of Jail” won’t be coming to Bravo anytime soon.
Andy Cohen reacted to a joke about filming a “Real Housewives” spinoff with stars who are serving time behind bars after Karen Huger was sentenced to prison.
TV writer and producer Gary Janetti wrote in an Instagram post Wednesday, “Can’t they put all the Housewives serving time in the same prison and just do a show from there?”
“too soon, Gary,” Cohen, 56, commented on the post, to which Janetti, 58, replied, “something to think about…”
Former “Housewives” and Bravo fans alike chimed in with jokes and name suggestions.
“GARY,” Lisa Rinna of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” commented.
“Omg 😮,” Kathy Wakile of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” wrote.
“Orange is the Real Housewives… sold! 👏🧡,” one fan commented, referring to the Netflix prison dramedy “Orange Is the New Black.”
“Real Housewives of Cellblock 7,” another user suggested.
“Ultimate Girls Trip,” someone else joked, referring to Peacock’s “Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip” spinoff.
Cohen and Janetti exchanged the playful banter just a few hours after Huger was sentenced to a two-year prison term, with one year being suspended.
The “Real Housewives of Potomac” star, 61, was found guilty of DUI in December 2024.
Huger was arrested in March 2024 after crashing her Maserati on the side of a street, leading police to find her inebriated.
While the Grand Dame is the latest Bravolebrity to end up behind bars, she is far from the first.
“Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” alum Jen Shah is currently serving a six-and-a-half-year sentence at Bryan Federal Prison Camp in Texas after pleading guilty in 2022 to defrauding people in a telemarketing scheme.
Shah’s sentence has been reduced three times, and she is now scheduled to be released in November 2026.
“Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Teresa Giudice also famously spent time behind bars for 11 months after pleading guilty to mail, wire and bank fraud in 2014. She was released in 2015.
Luann de Lesseps rounds out the list for her 2017 arrest and night in jail after she was arrested for disorderly intoxication, resisting arrest and battery in Florida.
The “Real Housewives of New York City” alum avoided more jail time by taking a plea deal and seeking treatment at a rehab facility.
Meanwhile, other “Real Housewives” stars have been arrested but have not had to go to prison.
Shannon Beador was busted for DUI in 2023, Sonja Morgan was caught drunk driving in 2010 and Gina Kirschenheiter was also arrested for DUI in 2019.
