Michelle Trachtenberg’s last photo before her shocking death was an outdoor selfie she posted on Instagram on Feb. 12.
The actress was found dead Wednesday morning in her New York City apartment, police sources told The Post. She was 39.
Exactly two weeks prior, she uploaded a close-up shot of herself wearing a blue sweater with a tiger on it, a charm necklace and sunglasses atop her head.
“Eye of the Tiger 🦁🧿,” she captioned the snap.
The focus of the image was Trachtenberg’s signature eyes, which she made up with smokey eyeshadow.
“Will never stop complimenting your eyes😍✨ gorgeous as per usual Michelle!” one of several commenters gushed, as another echoed, “you have beautiful eyes miss Trachtenberg.”
Someone else wondered, “Are they Green or are they Blue? The real color is known only by you.😂.”
The “Harriet the Spy” star’s death is not being investigated as suspicious, though the cause is not yet known.
Sources told The Post she had received a liver transplant recently.
Trachtenberg’s rep and the Los Angeles Coroner’s Office did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
Prior to her death, the “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” star had sparked concern about her appearance, with many netizens claiming she looked unwell.
Trachtenberg had seemingly lost weight, her hair had thinned and the whites of her eyes appeared yellow.
But she defended her looks in January 2024, telling critics, “Explain to me how I look sick. … Did you lose a calendar and not realize I’m not 14. I’m 38. How sad for you to leave such a comment.”
The “Gossip Girl” star later added, “I’ve received several comments recently about my appearance. I have never had plastic surgery I am happy and healthy. Check yourself haters.”
Trachtenberg’s last Instagram post was a throwback picture of herself she shared exactly a week ago.
“I wanted to look like naughty #tinkerbell 💚 #throwback ⚡️,” she captioned it.
