Even the haters can’t disagree: Donald Trump has accomplished more in less than a month than Joe Biden did in four entire years as president. And he’s not slowing down anytime soon.
The 45th and 47th president of the United States will undoubtedly be remembered for staging the biggest political comeback in history, easily defeating his selected (not elected) opponent Kamala Harris.
One of the many reasons Harris lost – besides the obvious fact that no one in her party or beyond could stand her – was because of her notorious “word salad” problem. Vice President Harris spewed a lot of words out of her mouth but none of them came close to resembling a coherent point. Even after being criticized for it, Harris failed to articulate what she planned to do if she was elected president.
So she wasn’t. Because what Harris lacked in vision, Trump made up for in a magnitude of good ideas.
Trump had big plans. Some may even say they were huge plans. He promised to close the border, deport illegal immigrants, quell the tide of frivolous government spending, end the war between Russia and Ukraine, approve drilling, enact tariffs, end the gender madness that’s been infiltrating public schools, and so much more.
“Your head will spin when you see what’s going to happen,” Trump said of his administration’s first day back.
Left-wing media outlets scoffed. Still comforted by visions of Biden peacefully licking an ice cream cone at the beach, they doubted Trump’s ability or willingness to shake up the status quo.
Suffice it to say their heads have been spinning ever since, because President Trump has been keeping promises and getting stuff done at full tilt.
On day one, Trump signed more than three dozen executive orders on the border, gender ideology, American energy, the economy, and other issues. He declared an emergency at the Southern border and deployed thousands of troops there. With border czar Tom Homan leading the charge, Trump has since authorized the deportation of thousands of illegal immigrants, starting with violent criminal offenders.
Another day one order made it so “sex” was recognized as biological, either “male” or “female.” He took an axe to DEI programs in the government and withdrew from the radically progressive World Health Organization.
President Trump continued his administration’s breakneck pace through his second and third weeks in office, tackling issues from trade to terrorism and gender ideology.
The president issued multiple executive orders nearly daily, fulfilling one campaign promise after another.
This included signing an executive order prohibiting federal funding for schools teaching “radical, anti-American ideologies” including Critical Race Theory and gender ideology. Trump also signed an EO committing that the United States will not fund or support the “so-called ‘transition’ of a child from one sex to another, and it will rigorously enforce all laws that prohibit or limit these destructive and life-altering procedures.”
Trump, surrounded by young female athletes cheering him on, also signed an order banning trans-identifying males in girls’ sports by threatening to rescind funds from schools that allow this.
Trump also worked with Elon Musk to reduce government waste and helped uncover frivolous, partisan spending, especially at USAID, which appeared to be operating as a secret funding platform for Democrat concerns.
All along he’s been celebrating wins and connecting with supporters both on his social media platform, Truth Social, and on X. It’s hard to remember that not too long ago, the president was banned from what was then Twitter as many feared the death of free speech in America.
Which was a shame, because some of Trump’s most iconic moments from his first go-round as president happened on X, where he was known to share updates on his administration, random observations, and a slew of other messages that so perfectly conveyed exactly who he was.
Those messages were always strangely poetic. And now they can be yours, bound into a collection of poetry. Today you can save 20% off this book & more with a site-wide sale in celebration of President’s Day!
