President Donald Trump is trying to “make showers great again” by taking aim at the Environmental Protection Agency for better water pressure, but not without ranting about it on TruthSocial first.
Jimmy Kimmel called out the president’s social media habits during Wednesday’s (Feb. 12) Live. “One minute he’s with ethnic cleansing, the next he’s tweeting about shampooing his hair,” Kimmel began.
He shared a post Trump made on TruthSocial that morning demanding EPA Secretary Lee Zeldin adhere to his demands “on Water Standards and Flow pertaining to SINKS, SHOWERS, TOILETS, WASHING MACHINES, DISHWASHERS, etc., and to likewise go back to the common sense standards on LIGHTBULBS, that were put in place by the Trump Administration, but terminated by Crooked Joe.”
After this toilet tantrum, Kimmel advised the president take a look at his personal diet.
“I would suggest Mr. President that if you have to flush your toilet nine times it may not be the water pressure,” Kimmel quipped. “You might want to take a look at your diet. Maybe don’t eat the triple whopper with cheese is what I’m saying.”
He then added, “You know he’s in the bathroom when he’s posting this stuff, right?”
Kimmel recently criticized Trump’s decision to sign an executive order banning paper straws. He shared a clip from Trump’s press conference where the president went on a bizarre tirade against them, saying, “They break, they explode … It’s a ridiculous situation.”
“Listen, the fact of the matter is, Trump loves plastic, most of his wives are made of plastic,” Kimmel joked.
He also shut down Trump’s claims that plastic straws won’t affect sharks and other marine life. “That degree in marine biology is really coming in handy,” Kimmel sarcastically commented.
Jimmy Kimmel Live! airs on weeknights at 11:35/10:35c on ABC.
