Lainey Wilson is engaged!
The country music star announced Wednesday that her boyfriend, Devlin “Duck” Hodges, proposed after four years of dating.
The former NFL player popped the question at legendary country singer George Jones’ $5.95 million manor in Franklin, Tenn., Page Six can exclusively reveal.
Jones, who died of respiratory failure in 2013 at age 81, famously built the 9,000-square-foot home in 1993 on a 25-acre estate.
The stunning mansion, which boasts four bedrooms and seven and a half bathrooms, was listed for sale earlier this month.
Wilson released a song titled “Keep Up With Jones” last year that paid tribute to the late “He Stopped Loving Her Today” crooner. She told Forbes at the time that he was “one of the artists [her] parents played all the time” growing up.
The “Heart Like a Truck” songstress took to Instagram to share the news of her engagement to Hodges, 28, alongside photos of him proposing in front of the door to Jones’ house.
In one snap, the athlete held up a cowboy hat-shaped ring box as Wilson flashed the diamond sparkler that was inside.
She also included a video of herself walking down the front steps of the manse before raising her hand to the camera to flaunt the massive ring.
“4x4xU forever ❤️,” the Grammy winner captioned the post, referencing the title of a track on her 2024 album, “Whirlwind.”
Wilson and Hodges, who briefly played for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Los Angeles Rams, started dating in 2021 and made their red carpet debut in 2023 at the ACM Awards.
“I have found a man that is so happy that he’s with a lady that can do her own thing,” she gushed to Billboard last summer. “He’s just my cheerleader.”
