Kelly Ripa may be Mark Consuelos‘ perfect match, but what about his “man type”?
After Ripa told Live with Kelly and Mark viewers on Monday that they would be joined by Scott Foley later on in the episode, Consuelos told her that the La Dolce Villa star is “very handsome.”
Ripa quipped, “So Scott Foley is your man type?”
Consuelos replied, “Well, I wouldn’t say he’s my man type.”
Ripa refuted, “Well, you said he’s handsome.”
After someone offstage reiterated that Foley is handsome, Ripa clarified her motive.
“No, I know he’s handsome. I’m just saying, like I’m trying to figure out what Mark’s man type is,” she said. “Like if you had a man type, you know what I mean?”
While Consuelos teased that he would “think about that” and “get back to” Ripa with his answer, she sought out backup.
“You understand what I’m saying, right?” she asked, looking away from Consuelos and toward the Live crew and audience. “I am always interested in what guys do other guys find handsome.”
Though Consuelos swiftly evaded further questioning during their host chat, the conversation picked back up when they welcomed Foley onto the soundstage later on in the episode.
“Did you know Mark thinks you’re handsome?” Ripa asked Foley as she greeted him with a hug.
As he proceeded to hug Consuelos, Foley replied, “I think he’s handsome… He out-handsomes me everywhere I go.”
Ripa added, “I don’t know, I just love the fact that now Scott thinks you’re handsome.”
While Foley doubled down on his praise for Consuelos’ “handsome” looks, Consuelos highlighted that it happens to be Live‘s “Love Week.”
Ripa proposed, “Do you know what we need, is the heart eye emojis coming out of your faces right now.”
Foley said, “Can we put them on the screen? Cause that’s how I feel whenever I see the two of you guys.”
Ripa joked, “I doubt it. Let’s just be happy we’re on the air.”
