It’s a birthday Saquon Barkley will forever remember.
Moments after winning Super Bowl 2025 in his first season with the Eagles, Philadelphia’s star running back celebrated his first championship victory with fiancée Anna Congdon and their children on the field at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.
In footage shared by NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo, Barkley — who turned 28 years old on Sunday — was seen carrying the Lombardi Trophy alongside Congdon, who held son Saquon Jr.
Barkley asked his son, “Do you want to give [the Lombardi Trophy] a kiss,” in a heartfelt moment.
Daughter Jada also joined her dad for a postgame interview.
Barkley had 25 carries for 57 yards in Philadelphia’s 40-22 blowout win over the Chiefs.
Teammate Jalen Hurts was named the Super Bowl MVP.
It’s been a season to remember for Barkley, who joined the Eagles in free agency last March on a three-year, $37.75 million deal after spending the first six seasons of his career with the Giants.
The former first-round pick surpassed 2,000 rushing yards in the regular season, becoming the ninth running back in league history to do so.
Congdon, who started dating Barkley during their time at Penn State, has cheered on the running back throughout the season, including Philadelphia’s postseason run.
She joined him for confetti celebrations at Lincoln Financial Field after the NFC Championship, where they took in the joyous moments with their two young children.

In the days leading up to Sunday’s big game, Barkley revealed he and Congdon are engaged, sharing the proposal took place six months ago.
“I can’t be the athlete I am and have the success I have so in my career without the help of her,” Barkley recently told People of his future wife.
“She’s been super helpful and always has my back, not only in football but throughout life there’s a lot that goes on. But as we continue to grow and mature and go through life together, we continue getting closer and continue to get even better.”
