Eli Manning defeats Peyton in FanDuel Kick of Destiny at Super Bowl 2025

Eli Manning prevailed during the FanDuel Kick of Destiny on Sunday.

During the Super Bowl 2025 pre-game show on Fox, the former Giants quarterback took down his brother Peyton, making a 20-yard field goal while his sibling doinked a kick off the right upright.

The Manning brothers squared off for the first time in the contest, first attempting kicks starting from 25 yards out before moving closer to 20 yards out as they each missed their first kick.

Sports bettors had the opportunity to pick which Manning brother would win the contest.

Those who picked right would win a share in $10 million of bonus bets.

On the “New Heights” podcast with Jason and Travis Kelce, the Manning brothers previewed their Kick of Destiny matchup with a little bit of trash talk.

“Eli pulled a quad in practice,” Peyton said. “I don’t know if he put that in the Injury report, if that should change the odds. But I have a new respect for kickers. I’ve been so sore. I don’t really know why it goes in or doesn’t go in, there’s no pattern to it.”

Eli, who was not elected to the Hall of Fame in his first try, claimed he was ready to go.

“I’m healthy now,” Eli said. “This was about six weeks now. I did pull a quad … I started practicing six weeks ago, day one, no stretch, no nothing. I was like, I’ll kick a 25 yarder. I kicked one, it went in, I kicked the next one and it went four yards with a pulled quad and I limped for the next two weeks. I kicked on Monday and it felt good. I kicked about 20-yarder and I think I’ll be ready for Sunday.”

It’s the third year FanDuel held a Kick of Destiny during the Super Bowl.

Rob Gronkowski attempted the kick in each of the past two years, missing it each time.

The sportsbook had promised to give away $10 million in free bets if Gronkowski made the kicks.
