Chelsea Handler reenacts ‘Babygirl’ milk scene at Critics’ Choice Awards 2025

Milk does a body good!

Chelsea Handler channeled Nicole Kidman during the Critics’ Choice Awards 2025, reenacting the actress’ iconic milk scene from the 2024 erotic thriller “Babygirl.”

Handler, 49, chugged a full glass of milk while hosting the 30th annual show that honors the best of movies and television on Friday, February 7, at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif.

The comedian hosted the award show.

“Babygirl was one of my favorite movies this year because I love everything Nicole Kidman does and it even inspired me to hire a new sexy intern,” Handler said, grabbing the glass from someone off camera.

“Oh, this must be from him, thank you,” she joked as she began to drink the milk, mirroring the unforgettable scene in the Halina Reijn-directed film.

“Conclave” actor Ralph Fiennes, 62, joined in on the fun and encouraged Handler to finish the glass.

“Good girl. Good girl. Good girl,” the star said, repeating Kidman’s onscreen lover Harris Dickinson’s line from “Babygirl.”

“Keep going, don’t stop, go on, go on,” Fiennes encouraged Handler as she finished the milk.

As the camera panned to the presenter for the next award, the “I’ll Have What She’s Having” author was heard saying, “That was a lot of milk.”

Kidman was up for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for her role in Paramount+’s “Lioness” at this year’s Critics’ Choice Awards; however, she lost to “Shõgun” star Moeka Hoshi.

The star walked the red carpet in a tan-colored Saint Laurent business suit. Kidman dressed up her look in a striped shirt with a silk tie and slingback pumps.

In “Babygirl,” Kidman plays Romy, a married New York City tech company CEO who has a risky affair with her young intern (Dickinson, 28). Antonio Banderas portrays her husband in the flick.

Kidman’s kinky milk scene caught major attention when the movie premiered on Christmas Day.

In the film, Dickinson’s character sends her a glass of milk at a bar, and she’s forced to drink it while keeping her gaze on her much younger lover.

The director of “Babygirl” shared that she had a similar experience in real life.

“It happened to me,” Reijn told IndieWire

“I went to a bar, and I ordered something boring like a Diet Coke because I didn’t drink at that time because I was a control freak. There was this young Belgian actor — I can’t say who it is — but he was famous. I knew of him. I’d never spoken to him. He was at least 15 years younger than I, and he ordered me a glass of milk,” she explained.

“I thought it was an incredible, hot thing to do, and so courageous, and so I wanted to reward him by drinking the whole thing, and I did. It did make me a little nauseated, to be honest with you, because it was cow milk. It was back in the day.”

Despite the hype surrounding the arousing thriller, Kidman was noticeably snubbed, gaining zero nominations for the upcoming Oscars on March 2.
