Noah Cyrus praises dad Billy Ray Cyrus amid family feud

Noah Cyrus doesn’t have an achy breaky heart when it comes to her dad.

The singer, 25, posted Billy Ray Cyrus’ new song to her Instagram Stories on Friday, despite her brother Trace Cyrus hinting at an estrangement between the siblings and the country superstar.

“So proud of my Dad’s INCREDIBLE new single LOST with my good, old friend [Sam Tinnesz] and [Tommee Profitt],” Noah wrote with two red heart emojis.

Noah’s support seemingly showed she is not at odds with her father, unlike what her older brother alluded to.

The Post reached out to Noah’s rep for comment.

Along with Noah, Billy Ray, 63, shares kids Miley, 32, and Braison, 30, with ex-wife Tish Cyrus. He also adopted the manager’s two children, Brandi, 37, and Trace, 35, from her first relationship and is dad to Christopher Cody, 32, with ex Kristin Luckey.

The artist released the new song “Lost” with Tinnesz and Profitt the same day after announcing the release of a new album produced by his son Braison in January.

“This is art imitating life, imitating art,” Billy Ray said in a statement to People. “It starts and ends with art. Braison is very talented and [2025] is his year. I’m glad to be a part of it. This record is gonna be special. I’m gearing up for what will be the journey of a lifetime.”

Braison released his own statement, sharing, “I’ve spent this past year getting to know my dad better than I ever have. I’ve heard stories, jokes and songs that I don’t think anyone else has. It’s an opportunity to tell my dad’s story through music and I’m fortunate to be able to take it.”

He added, “Music, stories and family are the most important things to my dad so to bring the two together is a full circle endeavor.”

Before the announcement, Trace called out his father for his controversial performance at Donald Trump’s Liberty Ball.

Billy Ray suffered technical difficulties during his set, complaining that his instrument wasn’t working when he tried to start the show. He was heard saying to the crew, “Is my guitar still on? I think they cut me off. I don’t hear my guitar anymore.”

He ended up singing an a cappella version of “Achy Breaky Heart,” but when the performance ended, Billy Ray wandered around the stage before being escorted away.

Trace wrote an open letter to Billy Ray on Instagram, revealing he was concerned for his dad, stating in part, “Sadly the man that I wanted so desperately to be just like I barely recognize now. It seems this world has beaten you down and it’s become obvious to everyone but you.”

Alluding to his mom and sisters’ mindset, he added, “Me and the girls have been genuinely worried about you for years but you’ve pushed all of us away. Noah desperately has wanted you to be a part of her life and you haven’t even been there for her.”

Billy Ray seemingly responded to Trace’s accusations days later by sharing a music video clip from his 2009 song “Somebody Said a Prayer,” which features the musician.

“Sunday callin,” Billy Ray captioned the YouTube footage.

“Giving thanks for the California Rain . Praying for the brokenhearted and their pain. Praying for my family. For my children … sons and daughters…and their mother. Let this moment be the start of healing. for us all. ‘The past does not equal the future.’ Amen.”
