Billy Ray Cyrus is proud of his superstar daughter.
The “Achy Breaky Heart” singer, 63, congratulated Miley Cyrus for winning her third Grammy on Sunday night — despite their estranged relationship.
Miley, 32, and Beyoncé took home the award for Best Country Duo/Group Performance for their duet “II Most Wanted” from Bey’s “Cowboy Carter” album.
“Congratulations @mileycyrus and @beyonce on their well deserved @recordingacademy Grammy wins!,” Billy Ray wrote on Instagram.
“🎶 Couldn’t be prouder!!!❤️🎉 🎈,” he added.
Miley infamously won her first two Grammys last year for her hit song “Flowers.” She attended Sunday night’s ceremony with her mom, Tish Cyrus, and her boyfriend, Maxx Morando, and presented the award for Record of the Year.
Billy Ray, meanwhile, has won two Grammys out of seven nominations in his decades-long music career.
The “Old Town Road” crooner made headlines last month for his disastrous performance at Donald Trump’s inauguration in Washington D.C.
Billy Ray took the stage at the Liberty Ball and had a meltdown over alleged technical difficulties, which prompted his son and Miley’s brother, Trace Cyrus, to write an open letter where he said the family is “genuinely worried” about their famous father.
“Sadly the man that I wanted so desperately to be just like I barely recognize now,” Trace, 35, wrote on Instagram. “You may be upset with me for posting this, but I really could care less at this point.”
Alluding to his mom and sisters’ mindset, Trace continued, “Me and the girls have been genuinely worried about you for years but you’ve pushed all of us away. Noah [Cyrus] desperately has wanted you to be a part of her life and you haven’t even been there for her.”
Billy Ray later broke his silence following his son’s public plea, saying on Instagram that he’s “praying” for his loved ones.
Miley, for her part, has not publicly commented on the latest saga in the Cyrus family drama.
Sources told Page Six that the former “Hannah Montana” star has “no interest” in fixing her broken relationship with her dad.
They also said that Miley and the rest of her siblings, minus Braison Cyrus, 30, “signed off” on Trace’s open letter.
Miley previously talked about her estrangement from Billy Ray on David Letterman’s Netflix series in 2024, saying that she “inherited the narcissism from my father.”
Billy Ray shares Braison, Miley, and Noah, 25, with Tish, 57. He adopted Tish’s two children from her first marriage, Trace and Brandi Cyrus, 37, after their wedding in 1993. Billy Ray is also dad to Christopher Cody Cyrus, 32, with ex Kristen Luckey.
