Jimmy Kimmel Jokes That Elon Musk May Be Homeless After He Announced He Slept At DOGE HQ: “Like The Old Lady Who Lives In A Shoe”

Jimmy Kimmel railed against the tech billionaires who have thrown their support behind President Donald Trump during last night’s (Jan. 30) episode of Live.

The late night host did not mince his words when he accused the president of “bullying nerds out of their lunch money,” including Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg. But Musk has been hard at work at the Department of Government Efficiency, or DOGE, where he claims he has been sleeping.

After pointing out the Tesla CEO donated $250 million to Trump’s campaign, Kimmel pointed to Musk’s recent X posts, where he claimed he slept at the DOGE headquarters because he’s “working so much.”

“He’s sleeping at work and yet somehow still finds time to post 600 times a day on Twitter,” Kimmel joked, referring to the platform X, which Musk now owns.

“Elon loves telling people he sleeps at work,” he continued. “I’m not sure he even has a house. He has 12 children and no home. He’s like the old lady who lives in a shoe.” (For the record, Kimmel wasn’t being hyperbolic — Musk actually does have 12 children.)

The late night host also took aim at Zuckerberg, who will reportedly be paying $25 million to President Trump to settle a lawsuit Trump filed against the company for suspending his Facebook account after the Jan. 6 riot.

“Trump threatened Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, he told him he wouldn’t be brought into the tent until the case was settled, so Zuckerberg scurried over to Mar-A-Lago with a big oversized check like he cleared the publisher’s house,” Kimmel quipped.

A large portion of the settlement will be going towards Trump’s presidential library – or “L-I-E-brary,” as Kimmel put it.

“Even at 78 years old, Trump is still bullying nerds out of their lunch money,” the late night host added.

Kimmel has been ruthlessly criticizing Musk and Zuckerberg for working so closely to Trump during his presidency. During a recent episode, the late night host slammed Zuckerberg for working with the president to roll back Meta’s fact checking regulations.

“We call it the ol’ suck and Zuck,” he said.

Jimmy Kimmel Live! airs on weeknights at 11:35/10:35c on ABC.
