President Trump will give remarks Thursday morning following the deadly collision between an Army helicopter and American Airlines flight outside of Reagan Washington National Airport in Arlington, Va.
Trump, in a post online following the Wednesday evening crash, said the crash should have been prevented. Key members of his administration, including Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy, echoed the sentiment.
First responders have thus far located nearly 30 bodies, and officials said during a Thursday morning press conference that there were likely “no survivors.”
Trump has been “fully briefed” on the incident.
The briefing is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. EST.
