Former Sen. Kelly Loeffler (R-Ga.), tapped by President Trump to head the Small Business Administration, is testifying Wednesday morning before the Senate Small Business and Entrepreneurship Committee.
Loeffler served about a year in the Senate after being selected by Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp in 2019 to fill the seat left vacant by retired GOP Sen. Johnny Isakson. She also worked alongside investor Steve Witkoff — Trump’s choice for Middle East envoy — to oversee the president’s inaugural committee.
The hearing is scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m. EST.
