Where is Whoopi Goldberg? Just like yesterday, we watched Joy Behar, Alyssa Farah Griffin, Sara Haines, Sunny Hostin and Ana Navarro settle down at The View table, but Goldberg was notably absent.
Goldberg was off yesterday (Jan. 21) too, when her co-hosts discussed President Donald Trump‘s inauguration. During the episode, Hostin dragged the president for being unqualified for his position while blasting his remarks about ridding the country of diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives.
“You’re talking about a man who didn’t become the president of the United States because of merit,” Hostin said. “He had no political experience whatsoever. He had no business experience. He was given everything that he has.”
Meanwhile, Griffin went after President Joe Biden for his sweeping pardons before leaving office, which included much of his family. Griffin was “floored” by Biden’s decision, telling her co-hosts, “The most charitable interpretation is the Titanic is sinking, I’ve got a life raft for my family but anyone else who challenged Trump, you better swim or you’re drowning. That’s my most charitable interpretation.”

Where is Whoopi Goldberg?
Goldberg is missing from The View for the second day in a row. She is absent because of a “work commitment,” as Behar told viewers yesterday.
While Behar did not give additional information about what Goldberg is working on, we know that she currently has a few upcoming projects, per her IMDb. Her future works include the third Sister Act film and the Anansi Boys miniseries, among others.
When is Whoopi Goldberg returning to The View?
We won’t have to wait too long to see Goldberg again! As Behar told us Tuesday, Goldberg will “be back next week.”
