Melania Trump leaned into a patriotic color palette for husband Donald Trump’s presidential inauguration on Monday.

The former model wore a custom double-breasted navy coat by Adam Lippes and a matching boater hat by Eric Javits, both American designers, for the occasion.

Finished with black leather gloves and dark blue suede pumps, Melania’s look perfectly coordinated with her husband’s navy coat.

The choice to support domestic design talents makes sense for the incoming first lady, who previously wore Ralph Lauren for her husband’s 2017 inauguration.

At the time, she paid homage to Jackie Kennedy in a sculptural powder blue cashmere dress and cropped jacket with a mockneck collar.

She accessorized with matching Manolo Blahnik pumps and gloves in the same color, pulling her hair up into a demure style.

Later that night at the inaugural ball, Trump changed into an ivory off-the-shoulder gown by French-American designer Hervé Pierre with a slit skirt, ruffled accent trim and slim red ribbon around the waist.

“It can be a daunting task to choose an outfit that will be mesmerized and become part of our nation’s story and forever history,” Trump said of choosing her gown, adding that she gave “poor Hervé” just two weeks to craft the couture look.

Her comments came as she donated the dress to the Smithsonian’s “First Ladies” exhibit, which showcases clothing worn by presidents’ wives dating all the way back to Martha Washington.

As the first foreign-born first lady since Louisa Adam, Trump has often looked to international designers for much of her everyday wardrobe.

She’s often seen sporting designs from French, Italian and British houses like Valentino, Dior, Burberry, Hermès and Alexander McQueen.
