A 66-year-old MTA worker was randomly punched in the face while she was standing on a Manhattan subway platform Friday afternoon, cops said.
The attacker pummeled the on-duty worker without warning inside the West 148th Street and Lenox Avenue Subway Station just after 1 p.m., according to police.
The victim told cops she was standing on the platform when the man approached and clocked her.
She was taken to NYC Health and Hospitals/Harlem for treatment.
Police released a photo of the suspect that shows a hulking man wearing a hooded jacket fleeing through a turnstile.
On Monday, the city plans to start installing two cops on every subway car overnight.
