“Dancing With the Stars” alum Lindsay Arnold is showing off her breast implants after undergoing augmentation surgery — all to silence the haters.
“Post-surgery Linsday is a sight to see. Everything went great thank you for all the well wishes!!” she captioned the surgery video Wednesday.
“I can’t believe this is actually happening” Arnold, 31, said to her husband, Samuel Lightner Cusick, driving her to her surgery one day prior.
While waiting for the doctor to arrive, Arnold shared a childhood memory about breast augmentation.
“When I was in high school there was a rumor that went around that I got a boob job and that my dad is the one who gave me my boob job,” she said on Tuesday. “My dad is not a plastic surgeon.”
After meeting with the doctor, and getting marked up around her chest, she and her doctor made a TikTok dance video before meeting with the anesthesiologist to get started.
After the surgery, the first thing that Arnold was worried about was her hair, asking her husband if her braids “were still on.”
When she got home, she noted that the pain was tolerable, even though she was feeling “dizzy and nauseous.”
In another video, Arnold shared an “unfiltered morning vlog” one day post-surgery.
“Honestly, I’m feeling really good,” she said at the beginning of the video.
The video showed Arnold and her husband in bed. “I think I finally slept the anesthesia off. Because it made me feel loopy and super nauseous. Anytime I stood up, it felt like I was going to throw up,” the dancer explained.
She said that the pain from the surgery was manageable after taking her medication.
Throughout the video, Cusick was seen taking care of his wife, getting her breakfast, pain medication, and a protein smoothie before taking a work call.
Before doing her morning skincare routine, Arnold then examined her chest in the mirror.
Wanting to take a closer look at her chest post-surgery, she said they looked good while censoring her chest with two watermelon emojis.
“They’re definitely swollen, but I see the potential. I’m very happy,” she said smiling.
The video ended with Arnold and her two daughters — Sage, 4, and June, 1 — snuggling in bed.
“You’re being so gentle with me, thank you,” she told her oldest daughter.
Last December, Arnold said she was going to gift herself the breast augmentation for Christmas after her birthday trip to Mexico with Cusick.
“Guys, I’m freaking out. I’m freaking out okay, but I’m also so excited,” she said about the procedure at the time. “It’s just like — so many decisions. And it’s hard [because] you make the choices for yourself and you have to live with those choices. So I’m hoping that I make the right decision.”
In another video posted on Jan 15, Arnold responded to a person who commented “Don’t do it!!! I regret mine,” with the caption “New 🍒 have entered the chat and zero regrets here 🤩.”
Arnold expressed that this was something she knew she always wanted to do since she was 13. While getting the breast augmentation, Arnold shared that she also got a breast lift.
