The White House held a press briefing on Monday in the midst of another ceasefire deal emerging between Israel and Hamas as the war in Gaza rages on.
Several sticking points remain as officials work to secure an end to more than one year of fighting in the coastal enclave.
White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre appeared with national security advisor Jake Sullivan for an update on the situation as well as other national security and domestic matters.
The briefing is among the last to be held by the Biden administration with the president having just one week left before leaving office.
