The Jets have a strong linebacker corps right now with C.J. Mosley and Quincy Williams manning the middle of the defense.
There is not a need here at the moment.
Mosley is going to be 32 in June and the Jets may start thinking about his future replacement, but I don’t think that is a priority.
The team has Jamien Sherwood as a good backup and drafted Zaire Barnes last year.
Linebacker is a position where players can contribute on special teams immediately and that could be a consideration on Day 3.
