A man and woman were found dead in Queens, with gunshot wounds to the head in what the NYPD described as an apparent murder-suicide.
Officers responding to a 911 call found the bodies of Joseph Murphy, 38, and Kenisha Mirrison, 35, inside 109-64 143rd Street in Jamaica around 2:45 p.m. Friday, police said.
A gun was recovered near the dead man and the investigation remains ongoing, cops said.
In the Bronx, three people were shot in two separate incidents overnight, including a 30-year-old man struck in the foot outside 1702 Watson Ave. in Soundview shortly before 12:30 a.m. Saturday, police said.
The victim was in stable condition at Jacobi Medical Center.
There have been no arrests, authorities said.
The suspect was described as wearing an orange jacket, an orange hooded sweatshirt and an orange hair covering.
He sped off in a car, whose make and model are not known, the NYPD said.
About an hour later, two 18-year-old girls were struck by gunfire outside 254 Soundview Ave., cops said.
One of the teens was shot in the left hand and the other was grazed in the hand and both her legs after being shot at by a man dressed in black, police said.
The victims were taken to Jacobi Medical Center in stable condition.
There had been no arrests.
In East Harlem, a man in his 30s was shot once in the chest on Lexington Avenue at East 125th Street around 12:05 a.m. Saturday, police said.
EMS took the “uncooperative” victim to Harlem Hospital in stable condition, the NYPD said.
There have been no arrests.
