Taylor Swift appears to address Travis Kelce’s answers from a 2016 game of “kiss, marry, kill” in her new song “So High School.”
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end appeared on “AfterBuzz TV” at the time and was asked to play using Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande and Katy Perry.
“Damn, that’s messed up. I don’t want to kill any of them,” Kelce, now 34, quipped during the game. “Ariana, sorry, love you, but you’re gone. And then Taylor Swift would be the kiss. And what’s the last one? Katy Perry? Yeah, Katy Perry would be the marry.”
The NFL star got his wish, as he’s been publicly kissing Swift, also 34, since they began dating last summer, and now she is singing about his answers on her latest album, “The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology.”
“Are you gonna marry, kiss or kill me? (Kill me),” she sings in the track. “It’s just a game, but really (Really) / I’m bettin’ on all three for us two (All three).”
She continues, “Get my car door, isn’t that sweet? (That sweet) / Then pull me to the back sеat (Back seat) / No one’s evеr had me (Had me), not like you.”
The second line may be a reference to the couple’s first public date night in October 2023 when they were photographed holding hands before Kelce used his free hand to open the car door for his girlfriend.

During another part of “So High School,” Swift directly references Kelce’s pro football career.
“You know how to ball / I know Aristotle,” she sings. “Brand new, full throttle / Teach me while your bros play ‘Grand Theft Auto’ / It’s true, swear, scouts honor. You knew what you wanted and, boy, you got her.”
Kelce told WSJ. Magazine in November that it was “mind-blowing” dating Swift because of how “smart” she is.
“I’ve never been a man of words,” he admitted. “Being around her, seeing how smart Taylor is, has been f—ing mind-blowing. I’m learning every day.”
