Taylor Momsen had a witchy moment during her latest performance.
The former “Gossip Girl” star and The Pretty Reckless frontwoman, 30, revealed she was bitten by a bat on her leg during her Wednesday performance while opening for AC/DC in Seville, Spain.
“So…ROCK AND ROLL MOMENT,” the singer wrote alongside a video showing off her injuries.
Momsen was on stage singing her band’s song “Witches Burn” at the time of the incident.
In the video, the singer paused her performance to address the crowd who kept pointing at her leg to inform her of the incident.
Without noticing the critter on her leg, Momsen turned around confused until she looked down to find the bat sinking its teeth into to her left leg.
“I must really be a witch,” she told the crowd after she calmly asked the stage crew for assistance.
“A BAT 🦇 🦇 flew onto me and clung to my leg…in the moment I was performing and had no idea until the incredible crowd kept screaming and pointing,” she continued.
“He was cute, but yes he bit me,” the “Grinch” star added, noting that she’d need to get rabies shots for the next two weeks.
She closed her message thanking the hospital staff who gave her the nickname “Batgirl” after seeing the moment on the local news.
In a separate video, Momsen detailed her account of the incident.
“A bat flew onto me and held on for dear life,” she clarified, adding, “He scared the s—t out of me and he wanted to be my friend.”
She went on, “All the fans kept trying to tell me. They were pointing and I didn’t know what the f—k they were saying. I thought I lost a bracelet,” she joked. “But no, it was a f—king bat hooked onto my goddamn leg.”
One of Momsen’s famous followers, Natasha Bedingfield, showed concern for the singer under one of the videos.
“Did it hurt?” the “Pocketful of Sunshine” singer commented.
Momsen responded, “The bite? No. The shots? YES.”
