A stranger pummeled a 37-year-old man during a clash on a Queens subway platform last week, cops said Thursday.
The victim was waiting for a northbound F train at the 169th Street station near Hillside Avenue in Jamaica Hills around 3:30 a.m. Friday when a man began arguing with him, police said.
The verbal clash turned physical when the aggressor — who did not known the victim — punched him twice in the face, cops said.
The victim suffered minor injuries to the mouth and refused medical attention at the scene, police said.
Video released by the NYPD shows the suspect – with short dreadlocks and a beard, wearing all black and holding a white umbrella – standing on the platform.
He was still at large as of Thursday.
Anyone with information on the attack is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
