Sabrina Carpenter engaged more voters than any other artist before 2024 election

Sabrina Carpenter asked her fans to please, please, please do their civic duty.

The pop sensation engaged over 260,000 voters and registered more than 35,000 new voters ahead of the 2024 presidential election, per a report from Variety on Tuesday.

The “Espresso” songstress successfully partnered with the nonpartisan organization HeadCount to break the record for voter engagement set by Ariana Grande in 2019 during her “Sweetener” world tour.

Carpenter, 25, got fans involved through giveaways, in-person activations and video boards on her “Short n’ Sweet” arena tour.

A sweepstakes — which has since come to an end — included a chance to be flown out to the “Taste” singer’s concert in San Francisco on Nov. 9.

In order to enter, hopefuls had to check their voter registration status, per Variety.

Prior to the “Short n’ Sweet” tour, Carpenter also teamed up with HeadCount to send two fans to watch her perform at the 2024 Governors Ball Music Festival in June.

That contest alone resulted in over 40,000 fans checking their voter registration overnight.

Meanwhile, Green Day’s “Saviors” tour also broke a record by registering over 7,900 new voters and engaging over 61,000 voters through in-person activations, according to the outlet.
