Robyn Dixon reveals she was fired from ‘Real Housewives of Potomac’ after 8 seasons

Robyn Dixon has been axed from “The Real Housewives of Potomac.”

“I will not be returning to Season 9 of ‘The Real Housewives of Potomac,’” the reality star, 45, said on Monday’s episode of her “Reasonably Shady” podcast.

“The network did not invite me back. I was fired, for lack of better words.”

Dixon, who was a “Housewives” fixture since “RHOP” debuted in 2016, also noted, “I had a very long run on the show.”

The “Wolf Creek 2” actress was on the verge of tears as she expressed her gratitude to the production team behind the series, while also giving a shout-out to her co-star and podcast co-host, Gizelle Bryant.

“I just really appreciate the time and the opportunity that I had on the show,” Dixon went on. “It was such a fun, amazing, stressful, crazy, wild journey.”

Though the pair will continue co-hosting their podcast, Dixon said she “hates that that part of [their] friendship is not there anymore” as they will no longer be starring on the series together.

The casting news comes just a couple of weeks after Candiace Dillard Bassett confirmed she was leaving “RHOP” after six seasons.

The Bravolebrity, who joined the series in its third season, said she had received “a whirlwind of new opportunities” amid her decision to leave the franchise.

“This is not a farewell, but a ‘see you later,’” the reality star, 37, told People last month.

“As I embark on a new chapter after six remarkable years with ‘The Real Housewives of Potomac,’ I am filled with gratitude for the enriching friendships, personal growth, and moments of introspection that have defined this journey.”

Bravo head honcho Andy Cohen described their inability to reconcile as a major “flaw” of the show.

“The flaw of this season is that there are women who aren’t able to find any common ground with some of the other women,” the “Watch What Happens Live” host, 55, said on SiriusXM’s “Andy Cohen Live” last month.

“So there are all these pockets of women that just won’t even acknowledge each other — which is not a recipe for, you know, [good TV].”

Cohen added, “One of the hallmarks of the ‘Housewives’ is finding a way to move forward.”

Throughout their tenure as Bravo stars, Dillard Bassett tied the knot with Chris Bassett on-camera, while Dixon divorced and then re-married husband Juan Dixon amid a highly-publicized cheating scandal.
