Photos Of Baby Lying On Ground At Taylor Swift Concert Spark Outrage: ‘Lost Their Minds’

Photos of a baby lying on the ground at the Paris stop of Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour on Friday night have gone viral online, sparking outrage.

Per Deadline, X user @jacnights13, a Taylor Swift fan account, circulated an image that caught everyone’s attention, though that original post has since been deleted. Plenty of other social media users have reposted the photo and shared others showing what appears to be a baby sleeping on a purple coat on the ground at the La Défense Arena as other concertgoers stand around.

“Not to be one of those people but I would genuinely call security if I saw a baby in the pit because it is NOT safe there,” the original poster wrote on the since-deleted post.

Another X post with 1.8 million views expressed similar concerns. “get ur baby off the floor and GO HOME,” that user wrote in the caption.

“[J]ust to paint the full picture this is general admission at the Paris show tonight… and that baby is somewhere in the floor AT THIS SHOW! Like WTF they have lost their minds! terrible parenting,” the poster wrote in a follow-up, which included a photo of the crowded stadium.

“All it takes is one misstep….. this angers me, idk why a parent would think this is ok!” one commenter wrote.

“I have a baby and I couldn’t imagine bringing him to the PIT let alone setting him ON THE FLOOR???!! Like hold him???” another account agreed.

“I hope someone called social services,” a third comment said.

The outlet also noted that the arena’s website had a section warning attendees that it “doesn’t recommend bringing children under the age of 4, even if accompanied, particularly due to the high volume.” Several commenters noted that the baby in the photos appeared to have ear protection.

Swift began the European leg of her Eras Tour on Thursday in Paris. She’ll visit 18 cities before returning to the United States and Canada to close out the year. The tour has raked in more than $1 billion in revenue, making it the most lucrative music tour ever.
