The curious case of the missing bobbleheads has been solved.

The Pittsburgh Penguins’ shipment of Jaromír Jágr bobbleheads that was stolen earlier this month has been recovered, the team announced on Monday.

“The Penguins were notified last week that a special cargo recovery team negotiated the return of the stolen property to a secure warehouse located in Ontario, California,” the team said in a press release. “The truckload arrived in Pittsburgh today and is expected to be delivered to PPG Paints Arena within the next week.”

The bobbleheads were supposed to be given out at the March 14 game against the Sharks, but the team revealed that the shipment had been stolen and gave fans a voucher that would give them the chance to pick them up at a later date.

The team will begin allowing fans with those vouchers to pick up the bobbleheads beginning April 6 and April 7.

The Penguins did not say where the bobbleheads were recovered from or how they were stolen in the first place.

The wacky story made headlines across the country and the Penguins made sure to have some fun with the situation as well.

The team produced a short 19-second video with Jagr, showing the Penguins legend hoping in a car with one of the bobbleheads presumably headed to search for the missing shipment of bobbleheads.

The post was captioned “#JagrWatch” on X.

Penguins president of business operations Kevin Acklin had fun with the news as well on Monday when it was revealed that they had been recovered.

“Another chapter in the storied history of the @penguins. Kudos to @68Jagr for his search and rescue skillz!  Stay tuned for details on a movie deal with @JCVD,” Acklin wrote on X, referencing the 1995 Jean-Claude Van Damme action film “Sudden Death.”

The giveaway had been a part of the team’s continuing celebration of Jagr, who spent 11 seasons with the Pens and won two Stanley Cups with the franchise.
