I don’t know how it happened that its been over a month since I posted. I think between trying to finish my crochet wips ( works in progress) and completing reading challenges I let too much time go by.
Well I completed my cardigan. It came out nice but not as lacy as I had hoped because I used yarn I had on hand. It’s called a All DC ( double crochet) cocoon cardigan by Jenny and Teddy. Here’s the link https://www.jennyandteddy.com/all-dc-cocoon-cardigan-free-crochet-pattern/
I used a pink yarn but I don’t know the company. The yarn was given to me by my friend who passed away. I ran out of the pink so I used white Red Heart Super Saver and I used a size J hook but if you want to make this use whatever yarn or hook you want.
Here is as modeled by Matilda, the dress form.
It hangs sort of weird on the dress and I apologize for that. I want to crochet another one sometime and I want to try not to make so many mistakes. My next project will be another dishcloth but a different pattern. YouTube has some wonderful videos for various skill levels for crocheting dishcloths.
I would like for you all to please pray for Jack and Michelle Perkins. Jack is in the hospital with some very serious health issues. Michelle also has health problems. They are both very talented crafters. Michelle is also a fellow blogger at Ozarks Sew n Sews. They are a super sweet couple who love the Lord so if you would, please pray, I know they would greatly appreciate it.
Until next time!
