They’re high on love.
Heart-shaped cannabis-infused chocolate edibles and gummies as well as traditional flowered pot will be sold at many of New York’s licensed pot shops for Valentine’s Day.
The products of one of the cannabis suppliers, “Jenny Loves Me” in the Hudson Valley, come in heart shapes, and the box contains “love facts” akin to sayings in fortune cookies.
The company’s THC-infused, heart-shaped chocolate edible is called a “A NOD TO DECADENCE.”
“Indulge in the rich and creamy taste of our Elegant Chocolates. These Belgian milk chocolate hearts are infused with crunchy vacuum-baked quinoa, offering a delightful texture and boost of protein with every bite,” the Jenny Loves Me site boasts.
All the Jenny Loves Me products — set to go on sale at a few dozen licensed cannabis stores in New York City and other parts of the Empire State — are kosher, sugar-free and vegan healthy, said owner Jenny Argie.
Even the pre-rolled joints are stamped with a heart on their filter.
It’s the perfect romantic gift for your companion, Argie said.
“Cannabis is a libido booster. It’s romantic,” the owner claimed. “Your receptors are more heightened. Touch feels strong. You can get aroused easier.”
Her products also include heart-shaped Passion Fruit-Mango flavored “Zee-Zee” Gummies with calming melatonin and CBC properties and pineapple-ginger-flavored “Go-Go” Gummies infused with a boost of ginseng .
Argie was personally delivering her products to cannabis stores in Staten Island and other parts of the city when The Post contacted her Friday .
One of the cannabis dispensaries selling Jenny’s Valentine-themed edibles on the island is The Flowery, co-founded by Shlomo Weinstock, a Jewish man, and Mohammed “Mo” Elgaly, a Muslim. The pair already had a display set up with Valentine’s theme heart-shaped cannabis chocolates.
“The end of the night will be amazing for anyone who comes with a nice cannabis gift for their partner for Valentine’s Day. The receiving partner will greatly appreciate it, ” Elgaly said.
He joked that a “bouquet” of marijuana could be more popular than roses.
“Cannabis represents Valentine’s Day. It represents peace, love and happiness,” Elgaly said, adding that it’s the season for “reefer madness.”
Last year, only a few licensed cannabis shops opened before Valentine’s Day during the state’s slow, rocky rollout beset by lawsuits and a proliferation of unlicensed pot shops.
But the 50th licensed cannabis dispensary will open Tuesday in upstate Colonie near the state capital in Albany.
Jenny Argie said her heart-shaped cannabis edibles meet the Valentine’s moment.
She said she was one of the first entrepreneurs to obtain a license to sell hemp 10 years ago and eagerly awaited the legalization of the recreational sale of marijuana.
“I’m excited. I’ve been waiting so long,” she said.
