NFL reporter Erin Andrews shares her favorite gear for sports fans

On the clock, NFL sideline reporter Erin Andrews, 45, is an expert at the game.

But her love for sports doesn’t end when the cameras stop rolling. In her downtime, she tells Alexa that she’s a “die-hard sports fan, wife of a professional hockey player [Jarrett Stoll, who retired in 2016 as a two-time Stanley Cup winner, with whom she shares son Mack, 10 months], and someone that cares about style.”

That’s exactly why she launched her female-fan apparel line, Wear by Erin Andrews, nearly five years ago.

“Fashion is always evolving so team apparel should evolve in the same way,” says the “Calm Down” podcast co-host and former co-host of “Dancing With the Stars.” “Women deserve to feel fashionable and comfortable all the time, even when rooting on their favorite teams. No one was designing fan apparel with the attention to detail and fashion perspective like we do.”

And women — including Taylor Swift — have noticed.

Swift was photographed wearing a Wear Chiefs windbreaker in October 2023, the brand’s Chiefs dog tag necklace in January and Wear’s bright red Chief’s bomber jacket, tossed chicly over her shoulder, while arriving at the Super Bowl last February to cheer on her boyfriend, Travis Kelce — Kansas City’s famous tight end.

“Taylor’s reach and following is unbelievable,” says Andrews. “Her fans have such a huge reaction to everything she does and wears, they immediately sell everything out because they want to support her and feel connected to her. She’s worn our product on three occasions and every time we’ve seen the effects in such a big way. And it’s not just the Chiefs products, we’re seeing it across all teams and leagues. She’s helped us reach a whole new audience of sports and fashion fans.”

Here are the fashion entrepreneur’s top team gear picks — for Swifties and non-Swifties alike.

“I’ve always loved dog tags and how cool they look in a necklace stack so why not try to figure out a way to incorporate the style into fan apparel? It can really dress up a basic white t-shirt when you throw it on. The small logo is such a nice, subtle way to root for your team.”

“We carry a windbreaker every season because our customers go crazy for them. This is a color block-version that’s the perfect lightweight jacket for Spring — and baseball games.”

“I love this because it’s such an old-school hockey vibe. I’m a huge hockey fan, and married into a hockey family, so I really wanted to replicate that feeling of a vintage hockey jersey.”

“Everyone has a favorite sweater in their closet that they wear over and over and [the brand] really wanted to tap into that for our own version. We do a new version every season and can never keep them in stock because people love them so much.”
