Before the chair went “Up Down.”
Newly surfaced photos of Morgan Wallen show the country singer chatting with a mystery woman at a Nashville bar moments before his arrest Sunday night.
Wallen, who had his back to the camera in the pictures obtained by TMZ Wednesday, wore a blue shirt, tan pants and a baseball cap during the conversation.
The woman, meanwhile, sported an off-the-shoulder top, a black miniskirt and matching boots on the roof of Eric Church’s honky-tonk, Chief’s.
Wallen, 30, appeared to be flirting with her, an eyewitness told the outlet, also claiming that the “Sand in My Boots” crooner seemed intoxicated.
The snaps were reportedly taken at 10:50 p.m., a mere three minutes before Wallen allegedly launched the chair that led to his arrest.
The furniture sailed six floors and then landed near police officers, who promptly took the “Whiskey Glasses” singer into custody.
Wallen grinned in his mugshot and was bailed out Monday morning.
He was charged with three felony counts of reckless endangerment and one misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct and has been “cooperating fully with authorities,” according to his lawyer.
The songwriter’s release came on the heels of his ex-fiancée KT Smith‘s wedding to Luke Scornavacco — but she disputed reports alleging Wallen’s behavior was caused by her elopement.

“Although it may seem like it correlates because of the timeline, I have no evidence to believe the incident had anything to do with the recent marriage announcement,” Smith told the Daily Beast Monday.
“I cannot speak on Morgan’s behalf, but I do pray the very best for him. Praying that this was just a slipup and that he will return to the good path that he was on prior.”
Smith, 29, and Scornavacco, 22, tied the knot on April 3, just five days after his proposal.
As for the influencer and Wallen, the duo were together from 2016 to 2019 and share a 3-year-old son named Indigo.
The “7 Summers” performer was subsequently linked to Paige Lorenze and “The Hills” alum Kristin Cavallari.
