Rain has forced yet another Mets game to be postponed.
Wednesday night’s Mets-Braves game in Atlanta was called off due to rain in the forecast, the Braves announced on X at 4:34 p.m.
The game will be made up on Sept. 26.
Thursday’s game is still currently set to be played at 12:20 p.m.
This marks the Mets’ fourth postponement over the first two weeks of the 2024 MLB season.
Their Opening Day game against the Brewers was postponed by a day due to rain, and their home series against the Tigers saw two games get postponed last Tuesday and Wednesday; they played a doubleheader last Thursday.
Jose Quintana was set to pitch Wednesday for the Mets, while the Braves were going to send Allan Winans to the mound.
