Man, 34, stabbed at Lower East Side subway station

A 34-year-old man was stabbed in the neck and lower back at a Lower East Side subway station early Wednesday, police said.

The attack started around 5:26 a.m. outside the Delancey St-Essex St stop, and continued into the station, according to the NYPD.

A male suspect wearing a white hoodie fled in an unknown direction, and the search for the perpetrator is ongoing.

The victim was transported to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition, according to the NYPD.
