Mamie Laverock’s family shared the first photo of the “When Calls the Heart” actress since her May hospitalization.
The close-up shot was posted to Laverock’s Facebook account without a caption Friday, simply showing the 19-year-old’s hand resting on a teddy bear in bed.
Laverock’s fingernails were painted red in the snap.
The teenager, whose face remained out of the frame, was hooked up to an IV.
News broke last month that Laverock was on life support after falling from a five-story balcony at a Vancouver hospital where she had been recovering from an undisclosed “medical emergency.”
Her mom, Nicole Rockmann, revealed last week that the family is now planning to take legal action against St. Paul’s Hospital in the wake of the tragedy.
Rockmann told the Los Angeles Times that she believes she can take up a “negligence-type” case, vowing, “There will be accountability.”
Laverock’s loved ones have continued to share news about her recovery via GoFundMe, recently writing that her body had been “shattered” in the fall.
“She is enduring tremendous pain,” the update noted. “She has undergone two 11 hour surgeries with two doctors working on her, a three hour surgery and another surgery.”
The post clarified that she is “doing well” and “showing signs of improvement” despite her recovery being “unclear.”
Laverock is best known for playing Rosaleen Sullivan on Hallmark Channel’s “When Calls the Heart.”
She has also had roles in “The Killing Game” and “This Means War.”
