Kim Zolciak took followers along with her to an Atlanta-based med spa Friday to get facial fillers and lip injections — but got a ton of backlash instead.
Fans roasted the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” alum, 45, for wasting her money as she reportedly endures financial hardships.
“You are in debt up to your eyeballs,” one viewer slammed underneath the Instagram video.
“Good to see your priorities are in order,” another quipped, with a third person adding, “Bankrupt and still spending money on dumb s–t.”
Yet a fourth dismayed user commented, “Don’t you have bills to pay? NOT a good look Kim!!”
Several other critics said they were entertained by the backlash alone. “No me coming straight to the comments….they’d don’t disappoint,” one wrote with a laughing emoji.
Zolciak paid no mind to the hateful comments as she answered a fan who asked her about the shoulder injection she received. She told the commenter the Botox she got was “life-changing” and revealed to another fan that her pants were from Alo Yoga.
It is also possible that Zolciak did not respond to critics since it’s common for influencers to get complimentary services in exchange for social media promotion.
That being said, the reality star’s finances have been a matter of public discussion for quite some time.
In 2022, Page Six confirmed her and Kroy Biermann’s mansion in Alpharetta, Ga., once faced foreclosure with a $10,000 lien.
Then, in 2023, we confirmed their spacious estate was ready to be auctioned after the couple defaulted on a $1.65 million loan they took out in 2016.
By February 2023, though, they had worked out a deal to save their house and the auction was canceled.
This past January, Page Six reported that Truist Bank filed court documents warning that it intended to “exercise its rights” if Biermann, 38, and Zolciak were unable to pay the debt by selling their mansion.
The former couple listed the seven-bedroom and 11-bathroom house for a whopping $6 million in October 2023, but have since slashed the price several times to its current list price of $4.5 million.
Aside from their debt with Truist Bank, Zolciak and Biermann owed the IRS $1.1 million in unpaid taxes, interest and penalties in May 2023.
Can’t get enough ‘Real Housewives’?
Then, Saks Fifth Avenue and Capital One sued the Bravolebrity for more than $150,000 in unpaid credit card fees in August 2023, and she and her estranged husband were ordered to pay Simmons Bank more than $230,000 after they defaulted on a home equity line of credit that October.
Zolciak has assured fans she is doing just fine, but the fact that she began pawning personal items from her entire family’s closets painted a different picture.
Biermann even accused his ex of having a gambling problem and financially ruining their family in their ongoing divorce.
The pair married in 2011 and welcomed four kids together: Kroy “KJ” Jagger Jr., 12, Kash, 11, and twins Kaia Rose and Kane Ren, 10.
Zolciak is also mom to two adult daughters, Brielle, 27, and Ariana, 22, from previous relationships.
