Kim Zolciak plots reality TV return amid financial woes, Kroy Biermann divorce

Kim Zolciak is plotting her return to reality TV, Page Six has exclusively learned.

Multiple sources tell us that the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” alum, 45 — who’s made headlines over the past year for her mounting financial woes and ongoing divorce from Kroy Biermann — has a new unscripted project in the works.

“Kim is in the early stages of developing a new reality show. She’s in talks with several networks and streamers,” one insider shares, adding that, “at this point, it’s unclear where the show will land or what it will even be about.”

Although “creative is still being ironed out,” a separate source notes, Zolciak is thrilled for what’s to come: “She’s excited to see what happens.”

A third insider tells us that the series is tentatively titled “To Hell and Back” — a fitting name should it explore the money struggles and marital strife that continue to underline the former Bravolebrity’s life.

A rep for Zolciak didn’t immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

Since May 2023, Zolciak and Biermann, 38 — a retired NFL player — have been navigating a nasty divorce, one marked by financial hardship and incendiary at-home fights that have forced police to intervene.

One jarring incident came in July 2023, when the “Tardy for the Party” singer called law enforcement and told them her estranged spouse had locked her out of their Alpharetta, Ga., mansion, stolen her car keys and shouted in her face.

Last October, she claimed to police that Biermann locked himself in their primary bedroom with both of their cell phones, purposefully preventing her from leaving their home.

“I need to leave because I don’t feel safe here,” she told the operator at the time.

One month later, one of the pair’s children called the police after a particularly explosive fight broke out. It was later reported that one of their sons claimed to officers that  “his dad was hitting his mom.”

Biermann accused the reality star of “f–king other men,” according to video obtained by Page Six from the altercation.

The exes’ relationship issues have occurred in tandem with their money-related miseries.

In early 2023, Page Six confirmed their massive 15,000-square-foot abode was ready to be auctioned after the duo defaulted on a $1.65 million loan they took out in 2016.

By that February, though, they had secured a deal to save their house and the auction was canceled.

This past January, Page Six reported that Truist Bank filed court documents warning that it intended to “exercise its rights” if Biermann and Zolciak were unable to pay the debt by selling their mansion.

They listed the seven-bedroom and 11-bathroom house for $6 million in October 2023, but have since cut the price multiple times to its current list price of $4.5 million.

Additionally, it was revealed in May 2023 that Zolciak and Biermann owed the IRS $1.1 million in unpaid taxes.

Then, that August, Saks Fifth Avenue and Capital One sued the KAB Cosmetics founder for more than $150,000 in unpaid credit card fees. Later, she and Biermann were ordered to pay Simmons Bank more than $230,000 after they defaulted on a home equity line of credit that October.

Throughout it all, Zolciak has assured fans she is fine — but has seemingly made ends meet by pawning personal items from her family’s closets.

Zolciak and Biermann tied the knot in 2011 and welcomed four kids together: Kroy “KJ” Jagger Jr., 12, Kash, 11, and twins Kaia Rose and Kane Ren, 10.

Zolciak is also mom to two adult daughters, Brielle, 27, and Ariana, 22, from previous relationships, whom Biermann adopted when they were minors.

The mother of six made her reality TV debut on “RHOA” in 2008, which she left after five consecutive seasons as a full-time cast member.

Zolciak and Kroy eventually scored their own wedding spinoff, “Don’t Be Tardy for the Wedding,” in 2012. The limited series then evolved into “Don’t Be Tardy,” which ran for eight seasons until it was canned in 2020.

In the midst of filming her unscripted family series, the Kashmere Kollections founder returned as a “friend of the Housewives” in “Atlanta” Season 10 — during which she memorably sparred with mainstays NeNe Leakes and Kandi Burruss — and later made a cameo in 2023’s Season 15.

Last month, Zolciak’s former “RHOA” co-star and pal Phaedra Parks told Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast that the blond bombshell belongs back on reality TV, if not the first Bravo hit that made her a household name.

“Obviously, I think Kim Zolciak has a very, very dynamic storyline that people are very much so interested in. Working with Kim was always fun. She’s great TV,” said the attorney.

Parks, 50, further acknowledged that Zolciak’s ups and downs make for compelling on-camera content.

“Kim Zolciak …. her husband, maybe-not-husband, divorce, maybe reunited, lots of children, adult children, engaged daughter now,” she elaborated, referencing Brielle’s February engagement to minor league baseball player Billy Seidi.

“I’ve prayed for [Zolciak]. It’s very tough for her to be a public figure and have your life — good, bad and ugly — be [broadcasted] for people to give their thoughts about it when they don’t have a penny in the pot.”
