Katy Perry switched up Harrison Butker’s sexist and anti-LGBTQIA+ speech in honor of Pride Month.
The “Roar” songstress, 39, took to Instagram Saturday to post a heavily edited video of the Kansas City Chiefs star’s controversial commencement speech he made at Benedictine College last month.
In her version, Butker’s initial remarks were altered to appear as if he was supporting the groups he targeted.
Instead of telling the female graduates that their “most important title” should be “homemaker,” the kicker said in Perry’s video, “Ladies present today, congratulations on an amazing accomplishment. You should be proud of all that you have achieved to this point in your young lives.
“How many of you are sitting here now about to cross this stage and are thinking of all the promotions and titles you’re going to get in your career? I would venture to guess the women here today are going to lead successful careers in the world.”
Butker, 28, added in the altered clip, “I say this all to you because I’ve seen it firsthand. How much happier someone can be supporting women and not saying that the majority of you are most excited about marriage and the children you will bring into this world.”
Different parts of the NFL pro’s original speech were noticeably pieced together as the edited video continued, “The road ahead is bright. Things are changing. Society is shifting and people young and old are embracing diversity, equity and inclusion.”
Butker’s edited speech concluded by wishing the Class of 2024 a “happy Pride Month.”
“Fixed this for my girls, my graduates, and my gays — you can do anything, congratulations and happy pride 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️ 🧡,” Perry captioned the video.
The “California Gurls” singer turned off her comments to seemingly avoid criticism.
In May, Butker was met with immediate backlash after he railed against Pride month and working women during his 20-minute tirade.
He called out “dangerous gender ideologies” and spoke against IVF and abortion.
Despite urging women to be “homemakers,” it was later revealed his mom is an accomplished physicist.
