Kate Middleton is feeling the festive cheer.
The Princess of Wales, 42, is set to host her annual Christmas carol concert next month after what’s been a difficult year for her and the royals, the palace has confirmed.
With a new theme each year, December’s service will focus on the importance of love and empathy, and will reflect on “how much we need each other, especially in the most difficult times of our lives.”
Indeed, the beloved royal was dealt a tough start to the year that saw her undergo abdominal surgery in January, which was closely followed by a cancer diagnosis in March.
Her father-in-law, King Charles III, was also diagnosed with cancer earlier this year.
Middleton, who recently announced she was cancer free after completing chemotherapy, will lead the televised festive event at Westminster Abbey on December 6.
Her involvement in this year’s event was previously thrust into doubt given her health woes.
Taking to X Wednesday, the princess shared a video teasing the upcoming concert.
“Something exciting is coming…” she wrote on her and Prince William’s joint social media account.
“The invitations are fresh off the press for this year’s Together At Christmas Carol Service, which will be returning to Westminster Abbey on Friday 6 December.”
“We can’t wait for you to join us too! Tune in on @ITV and @ITVX on Christmas Eve,” she added.
The 20-seconds-long clip ended with the Kensington Palace logo, followed by snowflakes to welcome the start of the festive season.
While the celebrities involved in this year’s Christmas extravaganza are yet to be revealed, it’s understood that Princess Catherine will invite people who have made a difference in other people’s lives.
On the day of the service, London’s Westminster Abbey will be filled with 1,600 people who have provided support to their communities.
“This year’s service provides a moment to reflect upon the importance of love and empathy, and how much we need each other, especially in the most difficult times of our lives,” Kensington Palace told The Post in a statement.
“The service will shine a light on individuals from all over the UK who have shown love, kindness and empathy towards others in their communities.”
The palace said the mom of three “wanted to celebrate the many people supporting those in need — individuals who have inspired, counseled, comforted, and above all else shown that love is the greatest gift we can receive.”
“This theme takes inspiration from the Christmas story which encourages us to consider the experiences of others and the important human need of giving and receiving empathy,” the statement concluded.
It will be Princess Catherine’s fourth time staging the “Together At Christmas” carol service. The annual event is supported by The Royal Foundation.
The concert will be aired on Christmas Eve.
