Kate Beckinsale is keeping her spirits high as she continues to be hospitalized over a mysterious health issue.
The “Underworld” star, 50, shared a silly selfie with her close friend Jonathan Voluck from her hospital bed in an Instagram post on Thursday.
The close friends wore a conjoined peanut-shaped pillow on their heads as they smiled for some light-hearted snaps.
Beckinsale also wore a cheerful cat-print pajama set and a full face of makeup while the Paramount Television assistant rocked a red, white and blue sweater.
The “Serendipity” actress shared a number of photos from her hospital bed including the view from her room which captured a double rainbow over the city skyline.
In another photo, Beckinsale is seen holding a jar labeled “F–ks to Give.” She also shared a snap of the book she’s reading, “Grief is for People,” by Sloane Crosley.
Beckinsale captioned the post with several peanut and rainbow emojis, as well as a middle-finger emoji and a crying-face emoji — signaling that she may be going through a tough time.
Several of her Instagram followers flooded the comments section to share how happy they were to see Beckinsale goofing around amid her medical woes.
“Get well soon! We all love seeing you smiling!” one person commented on the post.
“You have your smile back that is so sweet👏👏,” a second person wrote.
“So lovely to see you- and how there’s always room for fun. ❤️,” a third added.

Beckinsale revealed that she had been hospitalized by posting teary-eyed photos to her Instagram in mid-March while celebrating her mom, Judy Loe, on UK Mother’s Day.
“Thank you to those that love us and support us when it’s s–t and try to make sure there are some bits that aren’t,” she wrote on March 11.
“And for looking after our dogs when we can’t, and lead us to remember happy things when we can’t. And turn up when we are sick and sit with us … And send balloons and check in and pull us out of wells with love.”
She has yet to reveal her condition but has kept fans updated with a few social media posts over the last few weeks.
In one sweet moment, she got a visit from her beloved Pomeranian. Last Sunday, she shared her bed-ridden Easter celebration, by posting a photo of her festive bunny socks.
Beckinsale has been going through a tough time as she lost her stepfather, Roy Battersby, in January. He passed due to a “massive stroke” at the age of 87.
Last month, Beckinsale revealed that she got a tattoo on her arm to pay tribute to her late stepdad.
