For a cocaine addict, John Mulaney is one lucky guy.
The comic recently relapsed, recovered, dumped his wife, then hooked up with Olivia Munn just four months later and had a son, Malcolm, with her shortly after.
Then his ex, Anna Marie Tendler, said she was penning a memoir, in part “about the endless source of my heartbreak and rage — men” — which is enough to make a fella sweat worse than a three-day bender.
But, somehow, Mulaney has gotten away with it.
“He’s not in it,” a source who has read the manuscript of Tendler’s, titled “Men Have Called Her Crazy,” told PageSix.com’s Nicki Gostin, “nor is he even alluded to. She talks about the relationship prior to John.”
Tendler, an artist, married former “Saturday Night Live” writer Mulaney — who hit big-time comedy fame with specials such as “The Comeback Kid” in 2015 — and she stuck with him through his much-publicized rehab stint in 2020 for drugs including cocaine, Xanax, Klonopin, Percocet and Adderall.
He filed for divorce in 2021.
Earlier this month, Tendler announced her forthcoming tome, saying: “I have been writing this book for two years. More accurately though I have been writing it for close to four decades. I have never been more proud of any work.”
She continued, “It is a story about mental health; about being a woman; about family. And finally, about the endless source of my heartbreak and rage — men.”
Our source noted that Tendler’s tease was “quite clever. The assumption is that it’s about John but he’s not in it!” they said.
Meanwhile, Mulaney’s new partner Munn has been in the news, too.
The “Newsroom” star said on Instagram that she was diagnosed with breast cancer in April 2023 and underwent a double mastectomy shortly after.
“I went from feeling completely fine one day, to waking up in a hospital bed after a 10-hour surgery,” she said.
