Jimmy Fallon hit the red carpet before the Met Gala, but headed for red sauce after.
The former “SNL” star eschewed any fancy after-parties, we hear, and instead went to meet his showbiz colleagues in Brooklyn for pizza.
A spy told Page Six that the “Tonight Show” host “skipped the big after-party and reunited” with his show’s bandleader, Questlove, and a successor to Fallon’s “Weekend Update” desk spot, Michael Che.
The crew rendezvoused at Lucali with owner Mark Iacono — and they all made pizzas.
The Carroll Gardens gourmet pie place is known to be a fave with celebs, including Jay-Z, Beyoncé and Drake — even inspiring Kendrick Lamar to name-drop Lucali in one of his recent dis tracks about the Canadian rapper.
Earlier at the Met, Fallon was spotted hanging in black-tie with Jerry Seinfeld, who said on the red carpet, “Jimmy and I have this thing: When two celebrities take a picture together, the bigger smile is the smaller star. If you are more excited than the other person, that means you’re the smaller celebrity.”
The duo also said in an interview with Vogue at the glitzy event that the only star they were nervous about interacting with was rock legend Paul McCartney.
Ironically, Macca is also a fan of Lucali.
Hollywood It girl Sydney Sweeney was spotted laughing at the comics’ convo.
Lamar rapped of Lucali in one of his latest diss tracks about Drake, “My visa, passport tatted, I show up in Ibiza / Lucali’s dwellings in Brooklyn just to book me some pizza.”
The Los Angeles rapper reportedly owns a nearby $8.6 million Brooklyn Heights penthouse.
