Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are “on two completely different pages” now that their honeymoon phase has “worn off” amid divorce speculation, according to a new report.
The pair’s marriage has been plagued with ongoing split rumors and sources close to the couple are weighing in on the discourse.
The “Let’s Get Loud” hitmaker, 54, and the Oscar winner, 51, have been “taking some space” to determine whether the relationship “is right for both of them,” a source told Us Weekly on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the “Argo” actor apparently “doesn’t agree with Jennifer’s lifestyle” and feels “worn down” by the marriage, the insider said, adding that the father of two has been “checked out.”
The source added that the duo, who tied the knot in 2022, are on “two completely different pages most of the time,” and that their “honeymoon phase has worn off.”
“Both have demanding careers that often require them to be in different cities,” the insider added.
J.Lo has reportedly begun to “ramp up her work commitments” and prepping for her upcoming “This Is Me… Live” tour, which kickstarts next month.
“She’s very focused on work and overextends herself,” the insider told the outlet, but added that the pair have been apart for contrasting work obligations.
This “highlighted the emotional and physical distance between them,” they added.
“Over time, Jennifer and Ben found it increasingly difficult to communicate effectively, and small misunderstandings grew into significant arguments,” the source said. “They have fundamentally different approaches to conflict.”
What’s more, insiders claim that the pair have different approaches to parenting and finances, which has subsequently “exacerbated” their marital woes.
Page Six has reached out to reps for Lopez and Affleck for comment.
Earlier this month, a source told Page Six exclusively that Affleck has “come to his senses” about the pair’s marriage.
The pair first sparked split rumors when the “On The Floor” hitmaker showed up to the 2024 Met Gala without him — despite serving as one of the event’s co-chairs.
A week later, TMZ reported that the pair were living separately.
Affleck reportedly started staying at a home in the Brentwood neighborhood of LA — less than 30 minutes from his and Lopez’s $60 million Beverly Hills mansion — nearly two weeks ago.
Page Six later learned that Affleck has been quietly house-hunting around the LA area.
The duo’s love story spans back to 2002 when they began dating. The pair got engaged later that year. However, they parted in 2004 after postponing their wedding the year before.
They ultimately reconnected in 2021 and tied the knot the following year.
